FREE Eviction Sealing Clinic
If your past evictions are preventing you from obtaining housing, come to this free eviction sealing record clinic hosted by the Massachusetts Fair Housing Center, Springfield No One Leaves, Quaboag Valley Business Assistance Corporation (QVBAC), and Quaboag Valley Community Development Corporation (QVCDC) from 11am – 1pm on Tuesday, September 1st at the Education 2 Employment Center, 79 Main St. Ware.
Eviction sealing prevents past eviction filings from being seen by the public, specifically from landlords and tenant-screening companies. This will help renters have a clean slate and allow them to legally reply with “no record” when asked about prior evictions on housing applications (Mass Gov).
